A Sister's Wish Comes True!

by Angela Wilhelm

Would you shave your head in support of a loved one?  Donna Hensley’s sister, Nancy, was diagnosed with a disorder unknown to most of the world called Dystonia. Donna couldn’t sit back and watch Dystonia take over her sister. She vowed to shave her head if she raised $10,000 for Dystonia research by May 16, 2012, the day before her sister’s birthday.

Donna’s dreams came true and she ended up raising over $11,000 (a number that continues to grow)!  Joined by her sister, family and hundreds of supporters, Donna shaved her head center stage of the auditorium at the highschool she teaches at.  Her hair was all donated to Locks of Love.
