With 8 rescue dogs, the Hughes family may be big but they are still dedicated to helping more dogs. When Chris heard the story of a sick Pomeranian named Sly at Richland County Dog Warden’s Office & Shelter, he had to help. He agreed to cover Sly’s vet bills to help make him more adoptable and sure enough, it worked. Recently, Sly was adopted by his new, loving foster family and now lives happily with them and 3 furry siblings. Chris’s rescue nonprofit, Rowdy to the Rescue, is still accepting donations for Sly’s vet care which cost $3,500. If you’re interested in donating, you can send a payment of any amount via PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org.
